I doubt it. I got my acceptance email while my status still said "Complete" and had already updated that day.

Just checked my status and it changed from "Complete" to a long paragraph saying congratulations and whatnot.

Thanks for the update! I'm in as well!

"Congratulations! You're in! Because we're wowed by big fancy packages and personalized notes, we are sending you a large envelope with a formal acceptance letter and lots of information about Michigan Law. But because we are wowed by YOU, we didn't want to make you wait to find out."

Applied Oct 20th and got my status checker on Oct 26th. If I'm still hanging at "Complete," does that mean I missed the cutoff for the first wave of decisions or am I probably waitlisted/rejected?

Anyone have any idea when the second wave of decisions is likely to go out?

I applied in September, but no clue how they organize the waves.

Mine says 11/3, so I'll bet you're in and it is just taking awhile to officially update.

Mine too, but they could accept us today. They just change it the next day from what I have seen.

I believe all the first wave admits got the email around midnight (mine came 11:58 on 11/2) and then the next day (this morning) the status checker updated to the admitted paragraph. Extrapolating from this ridiculously tiny sample size, I would say that they are likely to send out emails toward the end of the day and then the status checker changes early the next morning.

Interesting, I've yet to receive an email but my status checker has the admitted message.

Crossing my fingers for another batch of decisions later in the day. I'm also keeping an eye on their twitter to see if they give any indication of more coming.
Same boat, but honestly it won't matter if its day 2 or 3 or whatever. I am pretty confident we will get in this week.

+1
I find your lack of neurosis disturbing.
