It was supposed to be at the end of January, but then they said in a couple weeks, and now it's been a couple weeks and I think they said a couple weeks more...miraclewhip wrote:Does anyone know when UCLA starts giving scholarships?

Can anyone who submitted a LOCI speak on its effectiveness? I haven't received a decision yet, but I also didn't really mention anything in my apps/PS about 'Why UCLA,' except for answering one of their app short answer questions. Wonder if it can help with both admissions and $$$.

New to this thread!
25 < LSAT < 50
GPA < 25
Went complete 2/3 but I submitted it on lsac 1/30.
good extracurriculars and interesting background. My stats are low for UCLA but I'm hoping for a miracle haha. It's my first choice bc of their intl human rights program.

Waitlisted today via email :/
For the science:
Submitted - 11/27/14
Complete - 12/7/2014
Decision - 2/19/15
(wow, that part is pretty easy without a status checker lol)
I'll be hanging out on the waitlist a while.
Good luck to all those still waiting!

I'm probably not the best person to answer this because I'm about the least conservative aspiring law student you'll ever meet, but since nobody else has replied... UCLA is a pretty relaxed environment. I'll probably wear a button up shirt with nice jeans. Assuming you don't show up in a garbage bag and flip flops, I think you're fine in just about anything.Lawgirl101 wrote:for those planning on attending the admitted students weekend- what do you intend to wear? during the day/for the reception?

Thought I would get dinged, instead I was waitlisted. I will withdraw, thank you for undergrad, but this is a sign it's time to leave LA.

For people who interviewed, how long did it take for them to get back to you with a decision? I thought it would be fairly quick but I was very wrong.

Here's hoping they're kinder to splitters than USC has been.lawschool1741 wrote:They know they are after essentially the same applicants and probably have been holding out for this. Hope they offer accordingly!ub3r wrote:USC finally released scholarship info. Your move, UCLA.
