Hey ya'll just clarifying when I said my tour guide said the lawyers club wasn't open, I meant that she said it wasn't open during the summer. Hopefully I didn't confuse anyone too much!

I lived in the lawyers club last year (odd that anyone still thinks it's still under construction). It's great. Unless you have a family or pets or really like to cook, it's the best place to live as a 1L. Very nice and super convenient.

For the record, I think Warby was just mentioning that the Lawyers Club = closed for summer terms.

Also, just a quick side note, if anyone's considering summer start and is concerned about finding a sublease, don't be. While the housing market in Ann Arbor is typically overpriced and in general sucks, it's a different story in the summer. TONS of people have to sublease for jobs/internships so you have your pick of places at much, much lower prices than normal. Essentially, don't be concerned about the Lawyer's Club being closed during the summer.

In other (speculative) news, it looks like they update the status checker pretty early in the morning if Brady's was updated by 4 am Ann Arbor time.

True. Mine updated to 11/11 around 3am central time, which confirms my speculation that they update automatically and if you are admitted today, you know that tomorrow morning when computers do their daily update.
