No. Vandy's 3,000 apps a year compared to FedEx's 10.5 million packages per day.

They're usually pretty formulaic. If past years mean anything, you'll get in with 110k.

That's what I'm hoping for. But went decision mailed 1/8 and nothing on Fedex.

See this doesn't make sense. I think other people have established that vandy doesn't really engage in YP so someone with numbers above both 75ths should be easily in...with big $$. I definitely don't have those kind of numbers but if someone with those numbers and a decision on the same date hasn't heard back maybe that means we still have a shot.

It's not expected by Vandy or typical on TLS, but if they have a place for a supplemental essay and you really want to go there, I'm sure a well-written Why Vandy wouldn't hurt.

Any 1/8ers get their rejection (or acceptance) yet? I didn't get anything over the weekend, and I'm going out of town for two weeks tomorrow morning, so if it doesn't come today, I get to spend my vacation in cluelessness. I'll just see what happened to you guys and extrapolate, I guess.

Won't you get a notification or something if a package is delivered? Definitely don't go on vacation stressing about this, though. Have fun!

I haven't heard a peep. No notice on FedEx, and nothing came in the mail this weekend (though I'm in TX so probably wouldn't have received USPS yet). I'll update once I know something solid. I can't shake the feeling that at least some of these mailings are sitting on someone's desk.

I GOT THE PACKAGE!!! My status checker said it was mailed 01/08 so y'all have hope! I also submitted my application on 01/05.. crazy fast turnaround

status just changed to decision mailed! I can't get the fedex tracker because it refuses to validate my address, so I suppose the wait begins?
