thanks for doing this.francis5 wrote:i caved and called the admissions office. someone told me ED decisions will be out early january. hopefully this was to get me off their backs, but still disappointing.
Status checker pain feels just like waiting-for-grades pain, and waiting-for-job-offers pain, and waiting-for-mpre-results pain, and I'm sure it feels like waiting-for-bar-results pain. I feel like being a lawyer is just one long series of waiting, and hoping, and agonizing.amariego wrote:Kind of surprised status checker pain still registers, now that you've both been in the throes of law school final exam pain. And here I was comforting myself with the thought that this time next year I'd be in worse shape than now. Yay, I think?
(My apologies to everyone who's going to see this moved up to the top of the forums and assume that there's some news to be had. NOPE!)

Unless they come out tomorrow or Friday, I just don't see how we're getting decisions until after the Ball drops. Nobody wants to work the week of Christmas. Still, their website says "You will be notified of the Admissions Committee's decision by the end of December." on the last line of the ED page. Some kind of update would be appreciated if what francis5 says is true.amariego wrote:Nope. Refusing to panic. This is clearly a mindgame, meant to weed out the mentally weak among us. The decision will be out very very soon. I'm sure of it.
*refreshes status checker more feverishly than before*
This doesn't seem very early for "early decision".francis5 wrote:i caved and called the admissions office. someone told me ED decisions will be out early january. hopefully this was to get me off their backs, but still disappointing.
I'm kind of hoping francis is a troll.2015_Splitter wrote:This doesn't seem very early for "early decision".francis5 wrote:i caved and called the admissions office. someone told me ED decisions will be out early january. hopefully this was to get me off their backs, but still disappointing.
Edit: Any chance they meant at latest ED decisions will be out early January? (I know I'm being ridiculous about waiting 2 weeks)

Thanks. ED.rebexness wrote:ED or RD?suppy183 wrote:"Decision Letter available within 24 hrs"
Do they send an email? Can I stop refreshing the status checker? I should have stalked last years thread better. I feel so unprepared.
Also no, you check into their decision letter page and can actually see the letter.
Now there's a charge.
