The first slots are still for 11/4 and 11/5. According to last year's spreadsheet, the first JS1's came out around 10/15 and the first interviews were around 10/22. So technically they could wait another week before sending them out, but my inclination is that they'll shoot out JS1's either this Friday or next Monday.

Checking in, b/c I got an email about an online session. Does anyone know how those go? I searched this thread, but didn't get any info (except that if I didn't get the email I got dinged :P )

Because I have no idea what I'm going to say/do if I choose to attend or even how to prepare.

Are the only people invited to the online sessions people who turned in apps?

I don't know exactly how they chose who to invite, but it isn't by apps. I turned my app in early last year, but was never invited. I kinda have a feeling it might be a URM or certain undergrad thing.

Don't they give JS1 invites 2 weeks to schedule/conduct (I'm not sure which one) their interviews? If so, then JS1 should be coming out next Friday, the 31st since the first interview slots aren't until Nov 4th.

Well there is always the possibility they will add sooner slots. They might just be finalizing everyone in the office's schedule before adding them in. Or it may be the case that each individual who interviews adds their own slots.

the spreadsheet was created by lawschool22 last cycle, and I copied it over this cycle. he created the "index" to compare people's numbers (so there's a way to compare a 3.5/180 and a 3.8/174, for example). it's not based on anything from HLS or anything, just something interesting to look at and see the correlation between it and results

Is it recommended to do the online sessions? I got that email yesterday but figured they just sent that to everyone.

last cycle applicants still have the link that HLS uses to schedule the interviews, and they are checking for us because they're awesome
