Do schools typically do a few days in a row of this stuff? Like Harvard does with their JS2s?

I'm really hoping so.

I'm optimistic about this because they called up until closing time yesterday.

they didn't even start doing calls until around 4pm, so I'm hoping that means they have a lot more people to call today and that they'll get to the October applicants soon.

So I went complete late Oct and have been "submitted for review" since 11/4.

Both of my emails are lowercase (whatever that means) and now I'm freaking out because people got calls.



CONGRATS to all of you - for those of us non-Sept submitters, just try to keep in mind that we were late submitters, comparatively!

I submitted early in October, and although it's late compared to the September applicants, it was still relatively early and I imagine the batch of people who submitted then is smaller than the late October batch, since a lot of people waited until after the October LSAT, which is why I'm so anxious/ nervous.

I suppose if there are going to be calls today they wont start until late afternoon EST. I do think there will be calls, though. Would be weird for them to just do a small batch of early september submitters and then wait.

I'm definitely not expecting a call today for myself, but out of curiosity, did those of you who got a call yesterday register any change to your status checker, or does it look the same as before your acceptance?

Damn... my emails are lowercase, but I can't remember what they were like before (not the most detail-oriented person, ironically...). Can someone please confirm that they are uppercase for most people this cycle, as well?

EDIT: Went under review 11/5, so I'm sure this doesn't mean much for me.

EDIT #2: Also, my "mailings" section may have been cleared, although I don't remember if it was empty in the first place.

If your email goes lowercase it means you'll get a call the next day admitting you. Or at least that's what I've heard.

hmmm good to know. based on the fact that several of us have 1 or 2 emails that are lowercase already (and have had this all along), I don't think email capitalization is predictive anymore, though

Congrats to everyone who was admitted. Just wanted to add that I was admitted via email yesterday after I missed the phone call. Unfortunately I was in my car driving home from my University and did not have my phone on Bluetooth. Incredibly excited!

I hate this theory, but I don't know if we have proof that anyone was accepted and not uppercase. I can almost guarantee it is just based on how you filled out the app though.

Auto-admit is awesome. Next cycle I'll instruct my friends to fill in the app with lowercase.
