I'm in a similar boat... I'm a long shot though. I went under review in January, I think 1/21 to be exact. I checked my status checker today and now it still says under review but with a 4/9 date.
I didn't send an LOCI though. Did you write it or type it?

I keep forgetting I even applied here. Complete 1/12 - As of now my status is Pending Final Decision from 4/11. It has taken so long!

22 days left is the worst case scenario for those still waiting. Most likely, they will notify waitlisters the last week of the month. Like I said, they probably have enough deposits to fill their class. I wouldn't expect much more acceptance movement.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Our Class of 2016 fb group only has ~130 in it, including admissions staff. Not all of the people in the group are necessarily going to Alabama, either. They're wanting to build a class of 150-155, according to what was said at ASD. I think there are some more spots to fill.

That's a great point. For whatever reason this cycle is taking forever but don't count yourselves out just yet.

I hope you're right. I just don't know why they would be holding out this long if they weren't booked up.

Anyone know what this means? Had a status date of mid-April before PFCD update.
Thanks!

It is anyone's guess. We should all have a decision by next Friday so just sit tight and start on your LOCI if you're nervous.

Anyone else get an email today about their PFCD? It didn't sound too optimistic. Anyone know what it means?

No email here. Can you elaborate?

I seem to be on a different schedule than most others. Last status update was on 4/15, though I've been pending final committee decision since January. Is the "waitlist" email that specific or does it just say something like they'll be continuing to accept, but only for limited spots. Good luck!

"After repeated deliberations, the Committee decided to put you on our Waitlist for Fall 2013."
Thanks for the clarification. I wonder if that's the same language that the poster a few posts above received for the PFCD update. Best of luck on the waitlist, I'm assuming you'll ride it out until the end since it's clearly your top choice? Hopefully they'll need that big GPA.

"Your file is being reviewed again, and final decisions (including final waitlist decisions) should be made within the next two weeks."
That's what the e-mail said. I've been PFCD since March (and last update was April), so some information was nice. But the info in the parentheses makes it seem more negative than positive.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
