Its fine to talk about other offers and they'll most likely ask you about them. Interview is not intimidating, more like a "get to know you" type interview where you can express specific interests and learn more about the school. Interviewed at other schools but enjoyed this one the most by far.

Yeah it's a really nice 'interview' if you can even call it that. Felt like an informal conversation about my goals and we talked about my personal statement a lot. Don't stress it!

Thanks for the help everyone. My interview is tomorrow morning. Crossing my fingers b/c MD is my #1 choice.

Anyone planning on living on Pascault Row or heard anything about it positive or negative about it? Seems like a good location and the price is reasonable to other options in the area. I've looked at the housing section on the website but does anyone have recommendations for an inexpensive apartment close to the campus?

So if anyone is still waiting for a decision like me, I contacted admissions last week and on Friday they told me they will probably have a batch of decisions made on Monday. I've read back in this thread and it seems like admitts get notified via email, not sure if dings are also by email or just snail mail. If anyone knows please provide some info! Anyways, GL to all of us still waiting!

My status has been in review since February just like yours. I've had to commit seat deposits to other schools while I wait on Maryland and two others (then my cycle is complete). Would like to know something soon to avoid additional seat deposits.Snowboarder1588 wrote:So if anyone is still waiting for a decision like me, I contacted admissions last week and on Friday they told me they will probably have a batch of decisions made on Monday. My rewardwas increased to $12,000 per year, and they said this is the highest they have given out this year. Is this true?

According to LSN, that's true, although a few folks also get a paid faculty research position worth $4000 a year for 2L & 3L.

Called the admissions office today -- looks like they started reviewing waitlist files last week. Fingers crossed!

I have only been in review since March 26th, but I am waiting anxiously as well (though, props to you for being patient for as long as you have!). It would just be nice to know before I am required to commit to other schools.Snowboarder1588 wrote:And I have not even received a decision! That is correct. It is posted somewhere on their website as well, I think in the COA spreadsheet. But this was confirmed to me by Connie Beals.hoogs23 wrote:My rewardwas increased to $12,000 per year, and they said this is the highest they have given out this year. Is this true?

I'm negotiating with Maryland right now, and so far, they have been quite accommodating about my circumstances. I'll keep y'all updated.

Knowing is really all I want at this point. Approaching 3 months in the application process this Friday. I hope you don't get tortured like me. Crazy....

Was told they don't have money as of now.
I need more time to decide. Is it out of the question to ask for a deadline extension on that second deposit? It's May 13th. :/

quick question, does everyone get a shot at a scholarship interview or is it only people who have fantastic GPA/LSAT scores? It might be a dumb question, but I'm curious. Thanks all for your info!
