Anyone who has received money- are you resident or non-resident? If you are non-resident, are they the equalizers? Thanks!

I took the LSAT twice, and my first score was quite a bit lower, so that may have something to do with it. But I'll definitely take what I can get!lawhopeful10 wrote: also tco with a 172, 3.8 im surprised you didn't get a full ride or something more than 2/3 in state tuition.

I received $5,000/year with a 2.7 stip and I am extremely happy. I applied ED and did not expect anything so this was a huge surprise. Hopefully this offers hope to other ED applicants.
Also, I'm pretty sure I will be attending the Public Interest conference so I look forward to meeting some of y'all there.

Just got the in-state equalizer and 3k/year for a total worth of almost $27,000. I'm pretty much crying/screaming/dancing since I was ED and going either way!

There are plenty of reasons to love UGA, but the fact that they're giving reasonable scholarship offers to their ED admits is really quite laudable. I'm out in CA and haven't received any scholarship info yet (and I wasn't ED, but I do have a horrendous GPA), but with all the evidence there is in support of the "law schools don't give a damn for their students" attitude, GA is putting their money where their mouth is in terms of student support.

If anyone wants my #s feel free to PM me. I will say that I'm surprised I got anything!
UGA definitely trumped any valentine my husband could come up with, though

Eee! Congrats! It seems to me like UGA is being more generous this year. Paying 15k/year or less for a school like UGA is a great deal!
Congrats to all!

Got my scholarship information in the mail yesterday! School of Law Scholarship: 10,000 per year and the Tuition Equalization Scholarship for approximately 17,000 for my first year.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
