My status just updated today for the first time in almost a month!

I'm ED also, long shot, so hoping for some news soon.

Oh wow mine just updated to today as well; it had been almost two weeks since I had last seen any movement.

Application finally under review after being complete since 10/12. Hopefully some movement for the rest of the 10/12 gang too.

Some Prep for the forthcoming ED Decisions:

- Decision dates were 12/20 and 12/29.
- The first batch is all admits, and they tend to go out around 2-3PM CST based on past two cycles. Calls ended about an hour and a half later.
- Admits are done via phone call.
- Last year, there was a twitter update both the day before and right before calls went out on the day of: https://twitter.com/UChicagoLawApps
- About a week later, another batch goes out for WL/Deny. On twitter, Chi claims to have made more admits in the second batch of decisions, but there aren't any reported on TLS or LSN.

So, because I cannot stop thinking about Chicago or what the most recent status checker update might mean even though we have no idea what it signifies, I must ask:

Are there any ED applicants whose status checker didn't update to "12/17" today? (I am an ED applicant and mine changed.) I wonder if the update just signifies the next step for ED'ers and isn't anything special.....

Checked last year's cycle and it seemed like all EDs' statuses changed before decisions rolled out. Some changed on different dates than others, but there was no correlation between final outcome (I.e. A/D/W) and dates.

No. Thinking about it and checking it so often that it precludes you from doing any work at the office would consitute "keeping one's eyes on Twitter."
