Re: HELD @ HARVARD 2012 style
What's up guys. Just got held today, not totally disappointed. My numbers are a little low for H. I am at the LSAT 25th and very close to the GPA 75th. Can someone give me a tl;dr of what a hold means? For me Im just hoping for a waitlist and maybe a miracle admit in the summer after I retake. Good luck everyone.

Re: HELD @ HARVARD 2012 style
got my hold email today. Pretty shocked, my numbers are not great (169/3.74) but I guess they thought my softs were interesting. Fwiw got rejected pretty promptly last year with very similar numbers, so maybe they're just holding a lot more people this year.

Unreasonable to expect movement for us in the beginning of next month? I mean those who held without a JS1... Hang in there ladies and gents; keep the faith!

Re: HELD @ HARVARD 2012 style
when re-reviewing the held pile, does anyone have any idea of how/in what order the held apps will be reviewed? Will they go back to the earliest app submits and work their way through again or what?

Not sure yet! You thinking of doing a LOCI?mikeylikesit wrote:Since we're in this strange boat together - - what's your game plan, brother?Elliott_Smith wrote:Joining the pack, just held today. JS1 last week.
I have this wild and crazy idea of sending in a "THINGS I SHOULD HAVE SAID DURING OUR INTERVIEW BUT DIDN'T"
But I'm not sure JS would look to kindly on that

Hahaha actually I think that's what I'm going to do - but just in a really subtle way.Elliott_Smith wrote:Not sure yet! Held today. Stats in profile. Submitted 11/28, complete email 1/5. I was expecting a reject with my LSAT and semi-late application so I am pleasantly surprised.

Re: HELD @ HARVARD 2012 style
Is it just me, or does JS seem to want work experience? I'm not sure what I can say to that effect... I might be taking a year off, but I'm pretty lucky in that I haven't really had to work yet. Not sure what else I can do.mikeylikesit wrote:Hahaha actually I think that's what I'm going to do - but just in a really subtle way.Elliott_Smith wrote:Not sure yet!
