Hi...I'll be starting this May! Congrats class of 2015

Anyone else starting in May looking for housing still? I'm hopefully looking for something close to the school...but will spread out a little if necessary. Share/sublet...etc. So if you need a roommate PM me!!

I submitted my app around new years time, got waitlisted for september in the beginning of February, re-applied for the May program and heard back in the middle of February.

Just got accepted into fall program days ago, and I happened to be in New York this week so I visited the law building on Monday. Both the facility and the people were pretty nice. I haven't seen the packet yet (so I don't know about the scholarship info), but if they offer me something nice I'm seriously considering. I love New York and really wish to relocate here for law school. I'm also going to the Mar.22 ASD so if you guys want to hang out sometime after that I'm in

i haven't decided yet. i'm waiting to see if i can negotiate more scholarship money. i'm hoping to make a decision within the next couple of weeks though. and yes, i am still looking for housing.

They've got to let us know soon right since decisions are due relatively soon. Under review since 2/6 but it's my top choice unless Fordham pulls me from their wait list. This waiting game is not fun and it has barely been over a month.

So for a lot of people phone calls came before status changes? I know that all other decisions besides acceptances are sent via email but I'm just trying to figure out that I should look out for if I get admitted. Spring break is next week so I'll be abandoning my temporary mailing address and therefore my ability to obsessively check my mailbox.

If you haven't heard back, odds are they put you on a maybe pile and are waiting for the February LSATs and the application deadline - as in, if there are (relatively) a lot of really strong new candidates, you're SOL, but if the revised pool is really weak you're in like Flynn.
Basically it can be considered a primary waitlist - if there aren't enough strong candidates (or a large amount of withdrawals), they'll accept people from the maybe list.
Then, once April rolls in, if there aren't enough seat deposits, they start pulling from the Waitlist.

Note: I have no factual basis for this. But I'm very good at figuring out why things are the way they are

i wouldnt throw out information like that with no factual basis..its only been a month, no need for automatic pessimism.. and you're ignoring the fact that people are beginning to withdraw

I just got the call today saying I'm in for the May-start program! I'm so excited! Looks like I better start making plans to move within the next 2 months!
