Don't worry, I'll whore out my contact info closer to ASW. I'm sure Typ3 will too. With ASW being only 6 weeks from spring finals (eek) there will be a ton of people being lame already by that point, but I'm sure we can get a good 1L showing for y'all.neeko wrote:

Does Iowa ever fly people out for ASW? Or do we pay our own fares?chrisbru wrote:Don't worry, I'll whore out my contact info closer to ASW. I'm sure Typ3 will too. I'm clearly too old for barhopping, because the only place on that list that doesn't sound completely terrible to me is Joe's Place. Your mileage may vary.

It looks like they'll reimburse you $200 if you decide to attend.Ernert wrote:Also curious about this.Hopefully2012 wrote:Does Iowa ever fly people out for ASW? It'll be okay. I'll be 30 in January. I feel a bit older though after the two kids, wife, ex wife, house payment, 151 months of FT WE, etc.40_Minus_1 wrote:Ugh. If it's the same as last year, they will reimburse up to $300 in actual costs (you must provide receipts) upon matriculation in the fall. However, this is only provided to scholarship recipients. I actually got my reimbursement offer email before my scholarship, and it mentioned that it was only available to scholarship recipients, so I had to call to find out if I was, in fact, eligible. They said my scholarship offer was on its way, the email just got there before the actual packet.nickjive wrote:Hopefully2012 wrote: Does Iowa ever fly people out for ASW? Or do we pay our own fares?
