Why do you want to attend UW so especially much?
Just because I want to live in Seattle and I don't think that any other comparably-ranked school would get me in to the Seattle market. And I'm not confident that Seattle University will land me good job prospects.
HYS are out of the question, so UW is my best bet for Seattle. And this is where I want to settle down, for real. I have zero interest in moving east, or in moving back to Cali, either.
As an undergrad in Business from UW, I nearly shed a little tear with Husky pride at your love and conviction.
UW opens MANY doors in the Seattle area. My GF graduated last June from Seattle U. It took her 6 months to get a part-time paralegal job and the worst part? She did not pass one section of the bar and is retaking that section at the end of next month.
I am sending you "UW LS Loves you Vibes" Good Luck!!

I think UW is my top choice too, but I'm trying to temper my enthusiasm. I'm just above the LSAT median and a little below GPA, but according to their chart on GPA/LSAT only like 25% of the people in my "range" were admitted last year (though I am at the top of the range LSAT wise).
Plus a waitlist at W&L which has very similar admission stats.

Dang, we submitted the same time, went into review the same time, and we almost have identical numbers. Hopefully we get a decision soon.

Seattle post should only take 2 days tops to get here, so I guess they just didn't send it on the same day we got our DR update.
What's wrong with a status checker decision, sheesh...

I will do this if/when I get accepted. I live about 10-15 minutes away, and I was already planning to go there immediately after being accepted to buy some UW Law clothing and memorabilia. I'll take my camera too and try to get some pics.
Of course, this is only if/when I get in.

lol, now you can really root for me to get accepted so you can see some pics.

Ah, I see you on there - Are you a reapplicant? I read through a few pages and saw some people get dinged with really close #'s to me (162-164 and 3.9+). Nervous.
This is a really early decision though, which is usually good... hopefully UW doesn't break that streak.
The law library looks very modern and sexy!

It is gorgeous Aggie
brand new building funded by Gates and actually one of the easiest buildings to get to. I can try to swing by on Feb 17th and snap a few to post.
Out of all the schools I have visited/toured, it is the NICEST. However, UCLAs library is the MOST amazing of any I have seen.

I did like UCLA a lot. But, WL is purgatory so I'm not even thinking about it.

sorry

that is the first chance I will get to go up there. I am seriously considering retaking the LSAT in June, so I am attending a SteveKlein review to see if I want to take his prepcourse beforehand. My gf took him and said he is worth every dime. Been teaching it around Seattle for over 15 years. I am sick about potentially retaking and having to reapply in the fall...but my LS cycle has been nothing short of shit and I am frustrated.

wow...that's a crazy long run. I can't imagine running that far, and I'm an avid runner and cyclist. I guess I can't imagine what it would feel like to open an acceptance letter from UW either, though...
