Do you mind sharing what they told you? or if not, just give a little hint from what they said on how you definitely know that? lol. i'm just really curious, as this can definitely play a part in what my final decision will be by the end of the week
Sure no problem. I'll PM you.
If you could copy/paste the same to me, that would be appreciated. I am also considering and any additional info would help.
Just pm'd you as well.
Ditto please

File pending committee review since 2/23/2011. Anyone have the same wait time? A couple of my friends applied around the same time and they heard back already.

I sent mine in 1/19 and then it went into review twice. I was WL 3/22.

The wording changed a couple of times. Once it said application with admittance committee.

Are you a member of the Facebook group for hofstra class 2014? It seems like a few people are looking for off campus housing/advice on there.

I highly recommend avoiding this dump. NYC has too many better law schools, and since I highly doubt Hofstra is anything more than a regional school, you will be competing for jobs with people from much more superior schools. The only NY schools worth attending are NYU, Columbia, Cornell, and maybe Fordham. However, even at Fordham you are starting yourself out in quite a hole.

I will be withdrawing from the waitlist on Monday. Good luck to everyone still riding it out.
