Not as bad as having applied earlier than many of those receiving decisions.

That's true, and in that respect I suppose I can't complain.
However, Cornell is still one of my top choices, based mainly on locale, and so this wait is particularly difficult.

I thought the frattiness drove you off? And yes, this wait is really annoying.

Wow, good memory. And yes, it did make me reconsider, but not enough to quell my interest considering I've never been to the campus myself.

I'm still processing away. Not expecting to hear anything soon since I'm not EA.

Still processing at 11/16. In retrospect, I realize that I may have submitted too late on the first, and that since they did not receive the materials until the 2nd (I'm still unclear as to whether it was submission or reception of materials), I may not actually be Early Action. Luckily, even though I would enjoy going there if it was the best school I got into, for now it's relatively lower on my list.
I know, I know, I should've pulled my application together earlier, but it was the first one I submitted, and since I was waiting on my October retake, wasn't sure of the range of schools I'd be applying to.

I didn't submit until after the office closed on the 1st, and I didn't get the email until the 2nd. I called last week to make sure I was still EA, and they said I was fine. You're probably in the same boat.

I submitted 10/29, was received 11/1, sat at processing for nearly a month, and received a "Your Early Action Application is Complete!" email on 11/23. People who submitted after me went complete before I did, and that is well past the complete date for EA (11/15), and they are still considering me EA.

I didn't submit until about 11:30pm EST on Nov 1st, and when I called a few days later to make sure that I had made the EA deadline the woman on the other end of the line made it seem as though I did. Now, I'm still processing, but I'm holding out hope that I'm still going to be an EA applicant there. If I haven't gone complete by this time next week I'll call again just to double-check, but I think we may still be "processing" because we're some of the very last EA applicants.

Just got the view book in the mail. In addition, there was a letter encouraging me to apply. Does that mean there's a problem with my app, which I submitted several weeks ago. It's still processing, but wouldn't they see that I already applied? Should I call the admissions office.
BTW the view book is gorgeous.

I got a viewbook in the mail after I had already applied as well, and my app is under review. I think they just draw from a database which they don't bother to control for people who have already applied. I agree though, the viewbook/envelope and letter were really impressive. I always judge schools slightly on how nice their stationary is...

Yeah. Submitted 9/31, received 10/5, and complete 11/3... Le sigh.

I've been complete since 11/11 and hoping this isn't a bad sign.
