don't use that as your predictor one way or the other. this depends on the quality of the applicants. it's like saying the lakers normally win 70 percent of their games, but the betting odds would be very different if they played the clippers than if they played the spurs.

No reason to believe the Lakers' schedule is any different this year than the last 2 or 3, especially when their team's talent is the same as ever and the teams they are playing are not likely in the course of one year to have all signed some kind of heretofore unknown and unprecedented superstars OR to have dumped their rosters and signed high school players.

Gets kind of twisted up when I'm calling a school the Lakers and students other teams, but I tried

Sorry to interrupt the analogies, but does anyone know when scholarship info came out last year. Im having difficulty finding good info on LSN. Also, when is ASW?

I was told by the admit people that they usually come in around late Jan/early Feb

You should be They come out in late February, that's when everyone who had gotten in up to that point got their offers. People who got in like a week or two before they came out had to wait longer IIRC.

In scrolling ITT it looks like the time IR can vary from one day (? I wish) to over a month. Any thoughts? I'm getting anxious, but aren't we all I guess...

I'd feel good if I were you. I got an acceptance email Friday with similar numbers (168/3.35). I obviously don't know how our essays or soft factors compare, but I hope my numbers are comforting.

Also, the WUSTL Admissions blog lists the possible status options. It appears as though it stays as "In Review" until the seat deposit is paid (then it changes to "Seat Reserved/First Deposit"), in case anyone was curious. Here's the link:

I didn't call Admissions to verify, but that seems to be the case based on the blog post. And mine still says "In Review" today, even though I got the acceptance email Friday.

It's funny, I wasn't particularly excited about WUSTL before, but now that they are the first ones to get back to me (and super-fast), and after watching the videos somebody posted a link to, I'm actually pretty excited. There are still other schools I hope to get into, but I would not be at all disappointed if I end up at WUSTL. Forest Park seems pretty sweet.

For anyone that doesn't actually click through to the blog post, I double-checked, and it explicitly says that admissions decisions ARE NOT posted on the status check page. Here's the quote:

"It is our school policy not to post final decisions on the Washington University School of Law status check page. All decisions are sent via e-mail." So it seems there's no need to check the status page once it says "In Review."

IMO, I would predict something for you either very soon, or the second week of Jan (They tend to take a break/are closed between xmas and new years). This is based on past reviews of LSN and the decision date graph. But the good news for you is that you have the magic LSAT which many on hear suspect WUSTL is gunning to make their new median. yes, i was accepted last week via email and it still hasn't shown up on their status checker.

This is true. They will e-mail you with an acceptance decision (I don't know about rejections/waitlists). Your status checker will still say "In Review" even after you've been accepted... this is because you're still under consideration for scholarship $$$.
