I don't know why we're all discussing a wave today when we haven't even hit 180 yet

It's 11:00. I saw a couple posts back saying that we should have heard something by 10:30 if there was a wave today. Probably means another day of waiting right?unrelated wrote:We are not worthy.Dr.Degrees_Cr.Cash wrote:I don't know why we're all discussing a wave today when we haven't even hit 180 yet

I'm wondering how we are defining "large wave," because according to LSN, there were like one or two people who self reported a ding on those days.Rigo wrote:If Im still here on April 1st, I'll be giddy.BabyDoc2JD wrote: I hate to be the one to relay bad news, however, in reviewing posts from last year's Harvard thread there were large ding waves on March 17th, 23rd and 28th. I see no reason for great optimism beyond my usual hopefulness. Good luck to all, may the admissions cycle bring you the result you need.

It's. Not. Today people. It would have happened by now and we're just getting our hopes up. It will be tommorow

I think the general rule is that we don't give up all hope until 4:30 ESTpragmaticpoet wrote:Any chance you remember what time those happened or nahPozzo wrote:There have been afternoon waves, iirc.VapidP wrote:It's 11:00. and that Noon EST is when we can safely say that it's probably not happening

Last year the 3/11 wave was first reported at 1:15 pm so curveball.
ETA: 3/10 wave started around 3:15 pm.

Yeah since they're doing fewer interviews at a time now maybe they'll start them when the interviews are done for the day?pragmaticpoet wrote:Ayyye okay so there actually is hope for today still.Pozzo wrote:Anon.y.mousse. wrote:Last year the 3/11 wave was first reported at 1:15 pm so curveball.![]()

There are two slot still open for tomorrow with no interviews being conducted Friday (if I understand their calendar correctly). If we don't hear by then, I'd guess we're looking at a veritable deluge of decisions on Friday.Anon.y.mousse. wrote:Yeah since they're doing fewer interviews at a time now maybe they'll start them when the interviews are done for the day?pragmaticpoet wrote:Ayyye okay so there actually is hope for today still.Pozzo wrote:Anon.y.mousse. wrote:Last year the 3/11 wave was first reported at 1:15 pm so curveball.![]()

Agreed! I think Friday is probably most likely if they have interviews sporadically throughout today and tomorrow, unless they specifically blocked off one afternoon for that purpose.Pozzo wrote:There are two slot still open for tomorrow with no interviews being conducted Friday (if I understand their calendar correctly). I wanna say that that's the only thing that'd make sense if we don't get a wave today/tomorrow, but I've been wrong so many times at this point that I'm wary of predicting anythingPozzo wrote: There are two slot still open for tomorrow with no interviews being conducted Friday (if I understand their calendar correctly). Maybe all of the remaining decisions will be made on 4/1 at 5:00 pm, who knows.

There are open slots at 9:30 and 5:00 tomorrow, so I doubt if there's time blocked off for it tomorrow.Anon.y.mousse. wrote:Agreed!
