Do dings today make a Js2 wave today less likely because they don't do them on the same days or something?pylon wrote:Sorry about the ding!Good luck today everyone, hopefully we have some good news after this wave.

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
On January 20th, there was both a JS2 and rejection wave, so it's definitely possible we could still get acceptances. However I'm not sure that means it's any more or less likely than before.thinkdifferent wrote:Do dings today make a Js2 wave today less likely because they don't do them on the same days or something?pylon wrote:Sorry about the ding!Good luck today everyone, hopefully we have some good news after this wave.

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
I would email them and ask to take the hold off. I had originally planned to retake in Feb & emailed them saying decided not to. A week later I got a JS1.af0890 wrote:Question for everyone: I got an extension for my February scores...and my February score's exactly the same as my old score. If it had gone up I was planning on emailing them to update--should I still email them and say even though my score is the same I'm still very interested in HLS? It's been 4 ish months since I applied so I don't want them to forget about me.

I didn't see this in the what to expect thread, but how are you notified of a ding/WL? Email only? Email + SC simultaneously? SC first?
I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth it to check my SC or wait for an email or phone call.

Looks like the ding wave is solidifying on LSN too. Putting my Monopoly $ on JS2 wave starting in ~20 min.

This week has been a bloodbath, especially for JS1ers. Grats on Columbia; we have similar stats and I just got hit by the hold wave there, so you must be doing something right!Mack.Hambleton wrote:Damnaibohphobia wrote:Well I'm never adopting a kitten out of bitterness. From lsn it looks like most people getting dinged are KJD and have at least one stat under a 25thbsdfree wrote:This week has been a bloodbath, especially for JS1ers.
