Looks like it's tough out there today. Got mine, too.

I was expecting it. But I guess I was crazy-hoping that, amid a likely record-setting year in law-school apps, my abysmal LSAT would somehow be overlooked.

But in addition to wondering why I wasted my app $$, I'm still trying to figure out what took 'em so long. I was under review 1/11 and certainly didn't go FR. I'm double-super extra auto-ding, so really this could've been handled, like, 1/13.

I'm guessing there was a massive wave sent within the last hour. 20+ rejections on LSN alone today. God knows how many they sent in total.

i find it weird i got waitlisted at Columbia but denied from Berkeley?

I actually kind of respect Berkeley for that. They don't string people along. They have to reject 7000+ applicants every year, so they just do it without mercy or waitlist games.

You should have. Berkeley is just ridiculously stingy with their waitlists. (Some people like that they don't soft-reject a ton of people with the waitlist, but IMO it makes them miss some great applicants like yourself who would definitely stand out on the waitlist.)

Oh well, good luck with YHS! You should get at least one

Some URs even later than 1/11 were rejected, up to as late as 1/25 on LSN.
