Went Complete 3/6. Still IR 4/7.

I'm assuming that not getting a decision today, while all these acceptances are going out, is a bad sign?

You're under review--that's something. I'm more inclined to believe that people who went complete later than you going under review sooner is a bad sign. Who knows anymore

When you say "as much as Cornell..." you're basically saying "even though Cornell..." which would lead people to believe that regardless of what Cornell has done to you, you still have a favorable outlook on it.

FWIW, the very nice lady I spoke to a few weeks ago over the phone explained that reserve is a hold on the application until later in the cycle. She told me that your application can initially be accepted, rejected, waitlisted or put on reserve. In the case of reserve, it will be reviewed around the time they get in deposits and then you will go to one of the other three options.

Begs the question- was anyone "wait listed" right off the bat, or is nyankees correct in that reserve=WL?

Reserve is better than a waitlist. There are some people that have been waitlisted I believe. But reserve seems like a deferral.

Reserve is better than a waitlist. There are some people that have been waitlisted I believe. But reserve seems like a deferral.

My fault if I was mistaken. I thought I had read that Cornell just used reserve like Columbia and there was no difference between reserve and WL but I guess I was wrong.

I'm still in review, but date changed on 4/24. I think that's the 3rd date change.
App was received 12/9, complete 2/15.

Were they speaking about you or all applicants in general? I went complete the same week an am STILL complete, so if we are all getting a decision then I'll at least be able to finalize my plans.

Holy cows and all other holy things, I actually went into review today as well. I just want my cycle to be over so I can gut all of my applications and start them all over. And, yea, I want the 8th waitlist just for posterity.
