That's cruel
They did put today's date, and they looked pretty on top of things generally.
If they actually sent in the app on Dec16, I doubt they got accepted in the early Feb wave. I think it's legit. Fingers still crossed.
I'm not saying it isn't legit, but it's strange this person would have gotten a call/email (if intl) over an hour ago with no one else reporting anything since.

nah nothing weird about that if this person is int'l and got an email; there's only so many of those and the calls typically start later. but if it's real we should be seeing some calls pop up here and/or on LSN soon-ish.

Looks legit to me. Based on wild and irresponsible speculation, I bet we see a trickle this afternoon and a couple of big JS2 days, maybe tomorrow and Wednesday.

Dini, when was your JS1 wave?

Jan 26th. Applied about 5 weeks before that.

I think that was it. The whole final wave. New class size = ~150.

It's been fun y'all.

Well that's one way for them to maintain their medians this cycle.

I'm kind of surprised I haven't been dinged yet (below both medians, applied early), and it occurred to me -- do law schools have ANY incentive to reject you before the last minute? I mean, would it really save them that much effort or reduce clutter? Or is the situation more like, might as well keep around these mediocre candidates in case the rest of the pool is really disastrous?

Sorry if this is a dumb question... Just musing.

I don't think that's a dumb question I think it's an intriguing one. I wonder this too. Another side of this coin is "if an applicant is glaringly a rejection why wait at all, send the ding"....this supports the mindset some have of "no news is good news" for top schools for those who have been waiting say 2.5+ months without a peep at all.

Regardless of one's perspective I think this is an interesting discussion.

Glancing at last year's spreadsheet, it looks like someone got one on 3/11. Consensus is that this year is moving slower right? Maybe end of March? That office is gonna have a lot of work on their hands...
