I spoke with Admissions this morning. I think they're just behind--it's a small law school--they're probably understaffed and quite frankly, if I worked in the admissions office the last thing I'd be worried about is tinkering with the status checker. They probably just have their heads in applications and are reviewing them as quickly as they can and not bothering to update the status checker. I have love for Cornell--give them a break.
I actually spoke with Admissions today too. The lady was very nice and said that almost all decsions will be out by this Friday. When I asked if this was true even for us not UR she said that we would be going UR very soon. Basically, I take this to either mean that they aren't on top of updating the status checker or more likely that we are all just going to be put on reserve or dinged.

I spoke with them last Monday and the lady was very nice and said that decisions would be sent out by the end of the week...She also said that a decision had been reached on my app...Well, it's eight days later and still nothing. Anything that comes out their mouths isn't to be trusted. This is especially frustrating because I'm going to have to cut a big check on Friday if I don't here from them -- and that money will be lost forever if I do in fact get into Cornell.

I just realize they have a link to the online RSVP for ASW which already passed in the status checker. REALLY HOPE THIS ISN'T SOME CRUEL MISTAKE ON CORNELL'S PART.

I was put on reserve. Cornell looks beyond the numbers and I appreciate that. Cool beans.

I think that at this point, as much as Cornell has screwed me over during the admissions cycle, I would turn down a full ride from them. I'm going to UT.

I'm assuming that not getting a decision today, while all these acceptances are going out, is a bad sign?
