But to be honest, I'm guessing all the 120's are done. They got 'em out early for a reason.

My 'I'm certifiably poor, can we do a Skype interview' request got dinged. Thinking that's a bad sign since other people were able to do it :/

Don't bother! Let's all just order Burn! (1969) dvds and walk around dropping references left and right during ASW in hopes that Johann overhears our not-so-quiet-whispering and decides to take out a bucket of money that he keeps under his desk and starts showering us in dat $$$.helpplease wrote:Has anybody seen the paper chase? See my above post for my ability to take new information and seamlessly drop it into normal conversation as if I already knew said fact all along. Clearly I'm destined for a great career in law.mrizza wrote:Stop pushing us into stalker territory!cookiejar1 wrote:Is Johann's twitter background a hint of acceptable gifts (read: bribes) that he'll gladly accept? Can anyone give me a general idea of what the hold list looks like? My girlfriend is on it and I'd like to get a better feeling about what her chances of getting off of it are. Also, NU does a wait list AND a hold list?
Thanks in advance!

The Hold list is like a list prior to a decision.2013applicant wrote:Can anyone give me a general idea of what the hold list looks like? My girlfriend is on it and I'd like to get a better feeling about what her chances of getting off of it are. Also, NU does a wait list AND a hold list?

Ah, thank you for the explanation. I didn't encounter anything like it back when I applied to law school so I was completely unfamiliar.LRGhost wrote:The Hold list is like a list prior to a decision.2013applicant wrote:Can anyone give me a general idea of what the hold list looks like? You're welcome. Some people from Hold will be admitted and waitlisted and maybe some will be rejected. I don't know if they will deliver decisions on the Hold list en masse or not, though.2013applicant wrote:Ah, thank you for the explanation. Im getting really excited about NU. this whole year off things a total bummer though. On the bright side I'll get to be the OP for the NU class of 2017 thread. I should probably learn how to make an avatar by then huh?

Think of it as $150,000 added onto your income for the next year. I'd say that's worth it. Since it is tax-free, the calculus is more like $250k of income.Think of it as $150,000 added onto your income for the next year.

I'll be there. Anyone else staying at the Whitehall Hotel? It seemed like one of the cheaper options near the school on Orbitz.porch wrote:Yea you guys are awesome and making me feel great about this ha.
