Is April ASW one day or 2 days, I got the invite for April 3 & 4 stating it is admitted students days. So do we pick one day or the other or is it both days? Can't figure this one out, I'm probably derping.

It should be the same as the March one, which had a reception Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. I believe and a full schedule on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to late afternoon.

There's a reception on Thursday night where you mainly mingle with others in the reading room. Friday is the actual ASD programming. I highly recommend going to both.

so I have not looked at WUSTL all cycle. Can anyone fill me in on why there is so much talk about WUSTL and why this thread is so long?

I actually have no idea. the WUSTL buzz existed before the full-ride-bailout. If I had to guess, i think it's because Romo, Strato, and the other WUSTL elders were all just very open and accessible about fielding 0L questions, including non-WUSTL specific topics such as debt and jobs.

I remember the first time I applied, WUSTL threads were the best place for me to find information about the legal market and debt even thouogh WUSTL wasn't essentially my first choice.

This has been mentioned before, but I imagine part of it is that WUSTL has an applicant "overlap" or wide range of stats that appropriately fit into the applicant pool. Pretty much everyone below HYS credentials and above TTT numbers could get something out of applying to WUSTL, and for free minus the LSAC fee. WUSTL has been splitter and reverse splitter friendly too, so almost any app will get a full consideration. There's not as harsh of GPA/LSAT floors.

Besides that, WUSTL is centrally located in a cheap COL city and generous with scholarships compared to most schools, making it a contender for debt averse (aka smart) people.

And the people in the wash u TLS community are endlessly entertaining and helpful, so I've heard

I think lately scholarship emails trail acceptance emails by about 2 weeks.

Anna Donavan is a Wash U adcomm. She has become our symbol for the hospitality and omniscience of Wash U faculty. I am quite proud of the Google results for "Anna Donovan WUSTL."

Lol i was referring just generally to your lifetime earnings as a BigLaw attorney. But yes I mean if you do well your 1L year then you'll make 30k in one summer as a summer associate. If you win the lottery that is 1L OCI then you'll make around 20k during the summer since most of the firms that hire our 1Ls are Midwestern firms that pay less than NYC-rates
