I believe the average entering day student is 24, and the average evening student is 25-26. In general, urban schools tend to be slightly "older" than campus-y schools like BC or ND.

True. Personally though, I'd consider median age to be more telling than the average age of what age group makes up a law school.

LOL yes. I was 24 when I started, and I'm 25 now. I act approximately 16.

Well, because all apps are due in by the 1st. At this point, my GUESS (I'm GUESSING here) is that they would wait to put the classes together until after seeing all the apps.

I KNOW - empty net goal!!! I heard some crazy stat about # of shots on goal in that game. USA needs to find an Offense, and quick.

Yeah, we got outshot 42-18. And Canada outplayed us most of the game. But if you think about how Canada also had 40+ shots against the Swiss and almost lost that game, you have to think that they're just not finishing.

The game was one of the fastest, most intense I've ever seen...the complete opposite of Fordham's response time for certain members of this forum...

LOLOL (and ya, that's the stat I heard. The shots they're taking aren't very GOOD... but enough of them could really wear down a goalie. GREAT game.)

If anyone is looking for a way to distract themselves, I picked up a copy of Crossfire: The Plot to Kill Kennedy from amazon last week for about $2 used. I read about 200 pages this weekend and I'll be damned if there is much else I'm thinking about. I ordered a few more books on the subject so I should be busy for a while.

For everyone waiting, hang in there. Not to start a stampede or anything but people who have been waiting an extraordinarily long period of time to hear something may want to call. I had been complete since 10/19...the 12/15 EA deadline came and went...I called and was supposed to hear by Christmas...and I finally called last week and they told me I had been waitlisted...even though my status checker was never updated.

So I visited today. The admissions office looked up my file and told me that I'd have a final decision no later than Monday. I guess it helps to visit. We'll see.

This also dovetails with my thought that they will be finalizing decisions end of this week/this weekend, with the closing of the applications window.
