Re: Berkeley 2010
Dean Tom,
I'm still slowly losing my sanity. I probably spend more than an hour every day dreaming about what it would be like to get into Berk. I am now thinking about going to Berkeley next week and camping out in front of your office. ADMIT ME PLZ BERK IS MY DREAM SCHOOL!!!

Amen sista. I just want the rejection over and done with already. UR since 10/22!sandiecohen47 wrote:I've basically lost all hope. Many people with better and similar numbers who were non-FR and UR in November just like me were rejected last week. I cringe whenever I see the +1 in my gmail. Sigh.
Fingers still crossed, though.

Could be real. There was a big batch of admits on 1/11.td6624 wrote:Would say maybe not if not for the ND rejection.manu4ever882001 wrote:might be the wrong place to ask this, but what do you think of this one? flame?

I think it looks legit . . . probably just has some sort of great softs making his cycle unpredictable based on numbers. I have similar numbers, and have had similar unpredictability.td6624 wrote:Would say maybe not if not for the ND rejection.manu4ever882001 wrote:might be the wrong place to ask this, but what do you think of this one? flame?

I think you're underestimating the importance of three points. But you could be right too.amputatedbrain wrote:I think it looks legit . . . probably just has some sort of great softs making his cycle unpredictable based on numbers. Probably URM but just didn't state it. Waitlisted at Harvard with a 162 LSAT? Sounds ridiculous to me.manu4ever882001 wrote:might be the wrong place to ask this, but what do you think of this one? flame?

No news since yesterday's twitter update? What time of day do these things usually happen (decisions, not twitter)?

Decisions seem to come in the late afternoon Pacific time (i.e., a couple of hours from now if there are decisions today).ohmy212 wrote:No news since yesterday's twitter update? What time of day do these things usually happen (decisions, not twitter)?

Any predictions about if and when we'll hear anything? This "near future" is not near enough for me. Dean Tom: you're killing me, Smalls.

Dear Dean Tom,
A fluke Valentine's weekend admission would really make both of our lives wonderful. And I'd put out.

Yeah, I have to say that that Twitter update on Tuesday about decisions in the "near future" was grossly misleading and probably unnecessary.sandiecohen47 wrote:Any predictions about if and when we'll hear anything? This "near future" is not near enough for me. Dean Tom: you're killing me, Smalls.

I'm just hoping that there isn't another mass rejection e-mail going out in the late afternoon just like last week. What a way to kick off a three-day weekend.5ky wrote:Yeah, I have to say that that Twitter update on Tuesday about decisions in the "near future" was grossly misleading and probably unnecessary.sandiecohen47 wrote:Any predictions about if and when we'll hear anything? Yeah, 1/11 is a very common UR date. If this cycle goes anything like last year's, you'll start to get an idea of where you stand when March FR is determined (or if you're accepted before then).booboo wrote:Neutral.otherside220 wrote:application has been under review since 1/11/10... good sign/bad sign?
