Johann, can you just tweet in the morning on the days where nothing at all will be released? That way I don't have to anxiously check my email every 5 minutes, and then check this thread to see if anyone else got the golden ticket.

+1. Every random spam email I've received today has been like a mini panic attack. At least there's no trollolol ASW reminder email from 'Northwestern Law Admissions' like yesterday

Suuuuppp. Not coming to ASW it's a little soon and I wasn't planning on it. I just had my interview with that other Chicago school so once I hear back ill definitely be making a trip out. Likely by the end of April. If you're still there then I will definitely want to MEAT.crumpetsandtea wrote:ZOMG MAL REALLLYYYYY?????Mal Reynolds wrote:Sup, just got the $150,000 letter. Has anyone who submitted the financial aid info in March gotten scholly info yet? I was a late Feb admit so I didn't have to submit mine until the first week of March.

I suppose the 0$ - 149,999$ range is much trickier to compute than the named scholarshipMicdiddy wrote:Looks like Wednesday was just a cruel teaser.

I hope to be as close to possible to that 149,999 mark.jbagelboy wrote:I suppose the 0$ - 149,999$ range is much trickier to compute than the named scholarshipMicdiddy wrote:Looks like Wednesday was just a cruel teaser.

I'm thinking they might have got them out early because of the earlier deposit requirement, which also makes me think they're planning on recycling these full rides that aren't acceptedjbagelboy wrote:I suppose the 0$ - 149,999$ range is much trickier to compute than the named scholarshipMicdiddy wrote:Looks like Wednesday was just a cruel teaser.

If someone turns down the offer (which from the looks of this thread won't be many TLS'ers), I'm betting the money will be recycled but not in $150K forms, more through smaller scholarships. Why would they give a student a full ride when they would still come with half or 2/3?mrizza wrote:I'm thinking they might have got them out early because of the earlier deposit requirement, which also makes me think they're planning on recycling these full rides that aren't acceptedjbagelboy wrote:I suppose the 0$ - 149,999$ range is much trickier to compute than the named scholarshipMicdiddy wrote:Looks like Wednesday was just a cruel teaser.

On LSN one offer was already withdrawn. But yeah I don't see many of these being rejected. Guess we'll wait and see.jbagelboy wrote:If someone turns down the offer (which from the looks of this thread won't be many TLS'ers), I'm betting the money will be recycled but not in $150K forms, more through smaller scholarships. The one that withdrew was a deferral $150k :/Micdiddy wrote: On LSN one offer was already withdrawn. But yeah I don't see many of these being rejected. Guess we'll wait and see.
ETA: it actually looks like there is a new one.

Re: Northwestern Law C/O 2016 (2012-2013 Applicants)
Well I'm sure they'd only offer them to people that didn't look like they were going to pay the deposit. Either one would make sense though. Mostly wanted to point out it is very positive that they seem to be taking steps to make sure they give out all the scholly $ they have allotted.jbagelboy wrote:If someone turns down the offer (which from the looks of this thread won't be many TLS'ers), I'm betting the money will be recycled but not in $150K forms, more through smaller scholarships. Re: Northwestern Law C/O 2016 (2012-2013 Applicants)
What was that one withdrawn for? The only way I could see myself declining the Wiggy is if I rocked the June retake and used that along with this schooly as negotiation for a Ruby, Hamilton or Levy. Maybe a full Darrow, but NW's employment data has looked better to me than Mich's lately. But I'm highly doubtful of any of those happening.Micdiddy wrote:

Ah. I just lumped him in with the rest cause he updated the same day. Never actually clicked on profile. Anyway, NU has talked about giving out more and there's no reason to suspect they won't hold true to that. I just wish I didn't have to wait the weekend to find out. I guess the days not over yet...teiswei wrote:The one that withdrew was a deferral $150k :/Micdiddy wrote: On LSN one offer was already withdrawn. But yeah I don't see many of these being rejected.
