I didn't originally, but I included one when I sent in my LOCI the other day.FiveSermon wrote:How many of you did evaluations? I didn't do any and now I'm regretting it.

Have they ever released decisions over the weekend?

Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
So Cornell claimed on Monday when I called that a decision had been reached on my application and that the decision would be released this week...I sent an email this morning asking if that was still the case and now they say I will receive it early next week. WTF? At least be honest with me an don't jerk me around, Cornell!

Well. I went in review yesterday, and was dinged today. Good to know that Cornell actually took a look at my application huh. Fucking bullshit. Glad my cycle is over.

Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
Wow. SERIOUSLY? Still nothing.
This just confirms everyone suspicions that EVERYONE who is under review as of now is effectively used as a waitlist. Our spots are contingent upon how many people sent in their seat deposits and how many spots are open -- isn't that pretty much the same thing as a waitlist?

Also surprised you didn't get reserved or waitlisted...coreno16 wrote:Well. I went in review yesterday, and was dinged today. Good to know that Cornell actually took a look at my application huh. Fucking bullshit. Glad my cycle is over.

If i'm a reserve I guess I'm ok with that. But if they filled their class without even looking at people like me who applied on time, I find that insulting.

Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
It just seems like they are getting autorejects out at this point and not even replying to borderline candidates/autoadmits. The people who heard today were mostly dings but they were only under review for a day or two?Naked Dude wrote:If i'm a reserve I guess I'm ok with that. Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
Meh not necessarily. A lot of schools review in order but don't make decisions in order. Platy places give most people the once over at least.maglialoro wrote:That is the idea behind rolling admissions though. When did you apply?Naked Dude wrote:If i'm a reserve I guess I'm ok with that.
