Re: Cornell waiting room
Cornell, thank you for subjecting me to another weekend of waiting.
This almost makes me want to try my luck tomorrow calling to see if I have a decision, but the status checker lags. I probably shouldn't pester, though.

At least you're not october. I've been EAC for a while, but i'm not really complaining since at least that means they haven't rejected us

Relax everyone
I had the outstanding December LSAT that Cornell contacted me about on Tuesday...
I e-mailed them yesterday telling them to not wait for my December score and Cornell's admissions office sent me approval of that request, and wrote today that I would have a decision by the middle of next week.
This obviously means they are still reviewing EA applications and that some of us will just need to be patient if we happen to be near the bottom of the stack that Cornell is going through.
Goodluck everyone. Absence of a decision is not a sufficient condition for a ding, or an indication of anything else at this point.

Eff this. I'm calling today to see what is up. I'm not impatient at this point, just annoyed.

I suppose I have no right to complain, but I'm going home for the holidays and if they're not going to mail out the decisions until the 23rd (so I get my ding after Christmas), just tell me now. Don't sit on it for two months.

I don't think we should slow the admissions office down by pointlessly making calls when we're still EAC. They've been nice enough to disclose decisions when they have them (i.e. when they update the status checker).badwithpseudonyms wrote:You don't like this idea?dudester wrote:Mmmk...badwithpseudonyms wrote:This describes my morning. ...Well, that and a trip to the gym.krispykitten wrote:IT CHANGED!!

Re: Cornell waiting room
Anyone EAC after 11/16 get a response yet? The status checker seems to claim EAC after 11/16 is an auto deferral to RD.
I'm 11/25.Early Action Complete (JD only) Your JD Application is ready for review by the Admissions Committee. If your JD application was complete by the November 16 Early Action deadline, you should receive a written decision (Admit, Hold or Deny) by mid to late December. If your application was complete some time after the November 16 Early Action deadline then your application will be held over to the regular decision applicant pool.

You're probably right. I've been patient. But like I said, I was frustrated this morning. I just got in at ND and BU, so I think that should be enough to hold me over a few more days.dudester wrote:I don't think we should slow the admissions office down by pointlessly making calls when we're still EAC. Re: Cornell waiting room
I'm tempted to call again just because I have a feeling the office will be closed next week which means I'll have to wait for my letter... I don't mean to sound entitled but I thought I would have a decision by now as LSP puts me at "Admit" (93%)
