Ruh Roh.
Why ruh roh?
Because I'm taking this to mean that a decision is imminent. See below for video representation:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqMiigy92qU
Haha, love it.
But what makes you think this is the UR date that's real? I just got 4/1, which is at least my 3rd date, so I've pretty much just stopped getting excited about it.
In my totally subjective and uninformed opinion, the third update marks the decision, which Chicago has typically released on Thursdays and Fridays.
Also, they're kind of running out of time, no? There's another batch of people that went complete after us that should presumably get decisions before the end of April.
In any case, we'll know if I'm right if they update their twitter feed today or tomorrow.

Acceptances usually come on Fridays with rejections and waitlists the following Monday.

Just updated to 4/1. I'm not sure if this is good or bad. What's the current guess?

You have good numbers. It seems like all of the people with 4/1 that I've seen have good numbers. But that could easily mean wl or even rejection.

No 4/1 update here, still UR 3/23 -> 3/26. Lots of people who got decisions in the past had a UR update the morning of the decision day, though.

I went UR on 3/4 at the very end of the day. Then nothing until now, so I'd guess we may be in entirely different stacks just in terms of time.

Im really hoping my "Why U of C" will help me stand out from the pack. My interests fit chicago like a glove. Like you said, everyone with the 4/1 UR have competitive numbers. So who knows. Chicago would open up so many possibilities, not to mention being the ultimate classical liberal credential next to a hoover/CATO fellowship.

How did you like the Duke ASD? I think I could be happy there. (You posted about it earlier in this thread I think).
I really like the U of C as an institution, and if admitted I'd be really really interested to see what their new LRAP looks like.

I thought Duke ASD was awesome. Far better than my expectations. I know I would have a great time at Duke, come away with less debt (due to scholly) and a great degree. If I dont get U of C I will be attending Duke (most likely). I would even go as far to say that I would enjoy law school more at Duke, but I can do so much more afterwards with a U of C degree, not to mention it has been a sort of childhood dream to go there.

Anybody check Chicago's twitter feed to see if we'll likely be getting decisions today?

@chicagolawapp: "Next online chat at 3 pm today with Prof. Tom Ginsburg. Prof. Ginsburg focuses on comparative & int'l law. Join on Admitted Student site." The latter part of that message suggests so, but then again...

Why would a chat on the admitted students site yesterday suggest that decisions are coming out today?

Only the second part of the tweet does. "Join on Admitted Student side." Why would they remind you for no reason? (maybe?)

Agreed. Their Twitter has updated as late as around noon Central time before, so it's still possible, but I wouldn't expect decisions today at this point.

Maybe the 4/1 batch is only waitlists/rejections?
