Lately the JS2 waves have been 2 consecutive days long. Would it be possible for them to start today and go into tomorrow? Or to do the same thing next week with 2 back to back JS2 days?

Anything is possible. Harvard will do what Harvard wants. We are at their mercy.

Next week is spring break according to the HLS academic calendar. Would the admissions office still be open?

Nice of them. Waiting until their applicants are free on break to drown their sorrows.

There are also a few on LSN none of whom had JS1s and I'm thinking there are probably a lot more who have just not reported/checked yet like yesterday

I was able to find one user ('sams') who reported a Harvard rejection from today, within the recently updated sections for 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 from the last few hours– this person didn't report a JS1. A few other users reported rejections from yesterday.

Edit: this will probably be outdated and inaccurate within a matter of minutes.

So going through LSN very quickly, it looks like there were about 5 big ding waves from January to March, and then other random dates with smaller numbers of reported rejections. By this time last year, there had been three waves, but we're only on our second one. I didn't count the number of rejections, because I'm sitting in a very open office and I want to maintain some semblance of dignity, so I don't know how the size of the ding waves this cycle compares to last year.

During the last wave, the first one reported on TLS was around 1:30 PM TLS time.

Just got dinged 170, 4.1, non-URM (-ish, middle eastern). I was expecting a waitlist. Oh well. It's been nice lurking here, everyone!
