It's taken Jimmy the full ten days though, so I feel like they're going slowly at this point.benwyatt wrote:Yeah, there is no release from the neurosis.barley wrote:I thought finally submitting my apps would make me less antsy, but apparently it has the opposite effect.
You should hear back from Duke soon though

Haha true! You got UVA back in only a couple of days, right? It says I'm under review.slippin_jimmy wrote:10 days is still super soon, despite my dramatics.barley wrote:It's taken Jimmy the full ten days though, so I feel like they're going slowly at this point.benwyatt wrote:Yeah, there is no release from the neurosis.barley wrote:I thought finally submitting my apps would make me less antsy, but apparently it has the opposite effect.

I'd be surprised if mine wasn't left over from a previous cycle, but I never applied.urbanist11 wrote:Couple people had hidden - doublehoo and dcc I think. But they also may have been leftovers from last cycle (correct me if I'm wrong but I think both were reapplying).

Apply! I don't think they'll give me money/I don't have any real intentions of going there, but I figure if I get an acceptance from Chicago I could use it to squeeze a tiny bit of money out of Columbia and NYU (if I get in there too).basedvulpes wrote:I've been going back and forth for months so that 25th is really convincing for meslippin_jimmy wrote:I c u drooling over that 25th drop.basedvulpes wrote:Has Chicago sent waivers?
ETA: or anyone solicited?
ETA2: or hidden?
Basically I want to know if I'll have to pay money if I decide to apply there
Side note, their 75th for GPA is terrifying. I'd look at the thread last year to see IF they even sent them last year. Haven't heard of hidden yet
Seems worth it as a reach, but I don't want to spend $100 on a school that likely won't give me money

I think I should download the Chrome Self Control extension and block TLS/status checkers on my work computer.....

Chicago acceptance-->money from NYU-->money from Columbia?benwyatt wrote:I will say that simply acceptance to Chicago is unlikely to get you anything from Columbia.basedvulpes wrote:Truth, you're probably right. Maybe NYU, but Columbia probably won't care at all.
Seems plausible enough to me that I'm willing to toss $100 Chicago's way.

I got my waivers from Chicago in September and December for the '13-'14 and '14-'15 cycles respectively, they send them out later.Hildegard15 wrote:My Chicago and Columbia apps are all ready to go, but I'm not ready to give up hope for a fee waiver.
