Sorry about the dings, guys But I'm getting annoyed with seeing "Your file has been submitted for review" every time I log on to the status checker.

I called to ask. I was expecting a ding given all of the above posts so when she said waitlist, I probably sounded a little too excited haha

There are a number of September and October completes still waiting, amazingly.

This process takes years off your life. I have checked my status checker 3 times today hoping to still be submitted for review.

Does anyone know much about Stanford's waitlist review procedures? A lot of schools have FAQ's but I couldn't find one.

Is the waitlist ranked? Do you think you can find out your rank? I'm preparing for what feels like the inevitable.

I have no actual answer, but I highly doubt their waitlist is ranked. My best guess is that they "review the entire waitlist pool in the event that a spot in the class opens up."

Stanford really messed this one up. I would have heavily considered going there if I had gotten in earlier, but now, given that I've already missed their ASW and met a bunch of cool people at Harvard's, there's almost no chance I don't enroll at HLS, even if Stanford ever gets back to me/admits me. This taking forever business must kill their yield.
