Re: Cornell waiting room
I'm gunna log in here for good luck. Page 163 of this thread also happens to match my LSAT - so I will pretend that this is some how a good omen. Applying as a URM (Mexican) so Cornell might be my only shot at T-14. Plus I am from Buffalo and have lots of family in nyc so its a great location.

Re: Cornell waiting room
I am EAC 11/20 and have not received a decision. I think an EAC 11/20 on page 162 (maybe 163) was waitlisted. Between waiting to hear from Cornell and still being under review at Duke since 11/9, I don't think I am going to be able to stay calm through the holidays. I spend all of my time at work searching this thread hoping someone with an EAC date close to mine has gone DR.UFMatt wrote:Anyone EAC 11/20 get a decision yet?

Re: Cornell waiting room
don't withdraw. retake the lsat and get at least a 168 and you should get in...if not in march, you'd probably be one of the first people off the reserve list/waitlist between june and august.monkeygirl wrote:Ah-I see your point. Thanks!najumobi wrote: the people who reached out to you (front office) are not the same people who make decisions on your app. the front office has no idea what the prospects are for you application. they ask everyone applying RD before the EA deadline whether they would like to get reviewed earlier under EA.
Still wondering whether I should withdraw or just not write a LOCI, though.
according to tls 8/9 applicants with a 3.6-3.8, 168 lsat got accepted.

Did anyone get rejected EA? It seems that its either deferred or accepted.

Re: Cornell waiting room
I am reasonably sure that at least a couple of applicants claimed that they were rejected outright in early December. But, yeah, it appears that a substantial majority of the EA pool are either deferred or accepted.DrGuano wrote:Did anyone get rejected EA? It seems that its either deferred or accepted.

Re: Cornell waiting room
Just got my deferral in the mail. Says they will review my app after the feb. 1st deadline. Dated 12/14. Looks like they are really mixing up how they let people know the news (good and bad).

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! IN!!! Got an e-mail saying my acceptance is in the mail! After a deferral from CLS yesterday this is a quite nice pick me up! I'm being considered for something merit based, but I don't think it's the Dean's scholarship. ANYWAY, SO PUMPED!
FWIW my status checker still says EAC 11/17

Team 13 (EAC 11/13) and/or Splitters (>3.3, <170), any accepts so far???? Esp. the latter is conspicuously absent on LSN.
Just called this morning, no decision made.

Re: Cornell waiting room
Been so busy at work all day that I just checked my status checker for the first time today and it finally says "Decision."
Should I call tomorrow morning?
Edit: Have other people called today? Are they looking acceptances or more deferrals?

Re: Cornell waiting room
Yeah, there was a line about being on the lookout for scholarship information in my materials. But nothing specific so probably not Dean's. To be honest though anything would be amazing! Ok off to work! Good luck to all those still waiting!

Could it be true that *no one* from Team 13 has heard back? Are they truly batching them like that?frix0803 wrote:Team 13 (EAC 11/13) and/or Splitters (>3.3, <170), any accepts so far???? Esp. the latter is conspicuously absent on LSN.

There have been at least four admits from Team 11/13. (See LSN)

Re: Cornell waiting room
I really really want to see "decision" tonight! But I'm EAC 11/20, so I know its not probable considering a lot of folks with earlier complete dates haven't heard yet. But for those of us who don't go to decision tonight, that means our decision won't be mailed until next week, running the chance of not receiving the mailing until after Christmas, which is totally lame.
