Thanks, good luck all. Don't worry, they've been late with money announcements all around. Didn't hear about the summer stipend until just a few days ago. Something like 68% of the school is on scholie right now. They love to give money.

1.There are some boutique firms (usually litigation..and usually in Texas), that pay 180K+ for starting.

2. Naw, salaries are lock-step. All the associates in each class-year get paid the same salary, regardless of which school they come out of. Maybe a smaller firm will pay 135K starting versus 160K, but firms don't differentiate salaries for associates in the same class-year within their own office.

There are actually a few firms where salary is not lock step after the first year (out west--MoFo, Orrick, for instance), and many firms who pay different base outside of "major markets." Also, if you have an MBA, certain firms will give you a 10-20K first year bump (above 160K or their typical base).

I honestly kinda liked the first season better when every episode was a different case/story. Felt more casual and light. But I guess this season hasn't been bad...I fucking hate Hardman..even though he's kind of a diabolical genius.
