did you submit a LOCI? i'd like to write one but i really have nothing to write other than I LOVE YOU PLEASE LOVE ME BACK THANK YOU.
doesnt LOCI usually include some recent developments in your academics/work, awards and such? i've got nothing new
yea, i submitted all the required paperwork that was due by March 1 i believe?banjo wrote:^Have you submitted all the paperwork?
i didn't submit an LOCI after i get held. i actually submitted one back in january before i had even heard anything back from them. i basically told them i had heard from the majority of the other schools i had applied to, but not from columbia, which was my top choice for xyz reasons. i did send them a simple email about a month ago, telling them that i was still interested in attending columbia law and referenced that LOCI.Jaqen wrote:Congrats! i agree.
I sent one in a few weeks ago - it read more like a Why CLS? essay, but I've also been updating them with recent publications and other developments since applying in November. I also had a 5th LOR mailed in. I'm a nonwhite LGBT applicant, but not a traditional URM, and like everyone, I'd like to believe I have "strong softs."scoutmaster wrote:sokomofo wrote:for deferred ED candidates:

I have not. I am thinking I may soon especially if I don't hear by Friday.
Are any other of the deferred EDs URMs?

No my status checker never updated with my fifth LOR, which is why I called to confirm that they received it.scoutmaster wrote:ht2988 wrote:I sent one in a few weeks ago - it read more like a Why CLS? essay, but I've also been updating them with recent publications and other developments since applying in November. when you sent in your fifth LOR did the status checker update by switching out the names of one of your original four? I originally found it odd but then just figured it wasn't worth calling/obsessing over.
Congrats! Make sure you've submitted the Financial Aid Questionnaire, as well. I believe it's only available once you've been accepted but then you can access the form through the admitted students website.djwjddl wrote:yea, i submitted all the required paperwork that was due by March 1 i believe?banjo wrote:^Have you submitted all the paperwork?
