Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
based off of the chatter in the thread, H admits have to proactively choose to join the group unlike admits at other schools. So the group isn't a very good proxy. I would be very surprised if less than half of the admits had been made.chasima wrote:only 350?? out of a total of 900 acceptances for the cycle? wowKinch08 wrote:rough estimate of # of people admitted so far, from the FB group.tomgirl wrote:

I doubt everyone admitted joins the FB group. Apparently last years capped out at 600ish. I would assume a generous estimate of over half the offers have gone outchasima wrote:only 350?? out of a total of 900 acceptances for the cycle? wowKinch08 wrote:rough estimate of # of people admitted so far, from the FB group.tomgirl wrote:

Not sure how the rumor started that there isn't a JS2 wave on the same day they do JS1s. My JS1 was on 2/22 which coincided with a JS2 wave. If I remember correctly, when I registered there were slots available after about 3PM (I did 5:40 PM so I didn't have to leave work early) and either the day before or day after had slots basically all day.

Pretty close. 369 including admins (5-10 of them I think). Last year and the year before had 682 and 795 total, respectively.Kinch08 wrote:+ I think the fb group has more than 350 people anyways so I'm wrong on a lot of levels

I think it was just assumed because we figured they didn't have time to do calling and interviewing all in the same day. Seemed like a safe assumption to me, but this is good to know at least.
Regardless, please let it be tomorrow.

Guys, I heard somewhere that if the thread makes it to page 180 before the next JS2 wave HLS just admits everyone who posted in it and no one else

I think people are referring to JS1 Invites/JS2s happening on the same day. However, it looks like there were some concurrent ding/JS1/JS2 waves last year. Got about another 30 minutes until we find out for sure if today is one of those days.Boiler2020 wrote:Not sure how the rumor started that there isn't a JS2 wave on the same day they do JS1s. Well, it's already a concurrent ding/JS1 wave. Whether it's going for the triple crown remains to be seen (seems unlikely).Pozzo wrote:I think people are referring to JS1 Invites/JS2s happening on the same day.
