Thanks. I'm really worried Dean Deal is going to tweet about manatees or something and then I'm going to have to invest in photoshop.90convoy wrote:you did the most with the pic brah lollawapp1 wrote:Yea were "why H?" essays a thing?Mack.Hambleton wrote:>why H

I'm assuming YLS has at least some applicants that aren't on TLS, so this must've been confusing as hell.tonysoprano wrote:On another note, I didn't apply to YLS, so I've never bothered opening the thread... Wow I can't believe an adcomm will actually admit (albeit indirectly) to having one paw on the on-goings at TLS, this is at the same time hilarious, scary and too cooltonysoprano wrote:On another note, I didn't apply to YLS, so I've never bothered opening the thread... yeah that's amazing/crazy! i also don't remember there being too much cat discussion in the YLS thread, and that it mostly happened in the HLS one. does that mean YLS reads this thread too? ahamusedreverie wrote:Wow I can't believe an adcomm will actually admit (albeit indirectly) to having one paw on the on-goings at TLS, this is at the same time hilarious, scary and too cooltonysoprano wrote:On another note, I didn't apply to YLS, so I've never bothered opening the thread... Penn definitely has subtle shout outs to TLS in their tweets.musedreverie wrote:Wow I can't believe an adcomm will actually admit (albeit indirectly) to having one paw on the on-goings at TLS, this is at the same time hilarious, scary and too cooltonysoprano wrote:On another note, I didn't apply to YLS, so I've never bothered opening the thread... Harvard had a subtle call into the cat trend.

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
speaking of asw, interestingly enough i remember last year there was a huge wave of js2s on the sunday of asw (caveats of this being different cycle, can't compare, etc. etc. all apply).LSCHI wrote:ASW starts the 7th so it is probably so they can deal with us swarming campus on that Fridaynosocat wrote:You mean on Friday, the 6th? Also, interestingly, on Friday the 5th, the interviews only go to noon (unless those slots have just been taken). I'll leave the speculation as to what that means to y'all.

So far, in this thread, there have been:
153 reported JS1s
74 reported JS2s
22 reported rejections (6 of which were post-JS1 rejections)

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
The reason is that I am John Harvard's sole living descendant and I threatened that if they did not admit me I would strip them of their right to call themselves Harvard University. That is "Why Harvard" must admit me.qwertyTLS wrote:if it's not too revealing, i'd be interested in knowing tooMack.Hambleton wrote:What was itmpc347 wrote:I actually wrote a why H but had a good reason for doing so.

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
i've decided i get too unnecessarily disappointed after every business day without a js2 wave, so i'm not going to be expecting a js2 wave until march 4th (pretty arbitrarily chosen because 1 month after the last wave). if a wave does happen before then, it will just be a nice surprise.
(easy to say, but realistically i'll probably still wait anxiously. such is life)

I take it the lack of posts regarding whether today is the day means the hope has effectively been sucked out of everyone else as well?
