Yeah, I was complete for almost 3 weeks. Then on Monday it was updated to decision mailed, and Northeastern sends decisions out in "batches"

I'll let you know tomorrow if it was da good kine bra.

Yeah, thanks. I was deferred in January and I am pretty sure I am withdrawing next week because I have scholarship offers at higher ranked schools and waiting for Northeastern is annoying me haha

Thanks for the tip!

Does anyone know what that usually means? Or do they just mail all types of decisions...

...Hmm...didn't receive anything in today's mail. I wonder if things actually went out the door on the 8th, or if that is just when they made those decisions...

How close are you to Boston?

It takes 3-4days standard mail to Manhattan which is only a few hours away.

I received my acceptance after ten days of submitting (on LSDAS).I guess I was one of those "auto-admit" students, but unfortunately, while I love Northeastern, they really aren't making it easy. I received $25,500 for all three years and a Co-op stipend for $3500. On Monday I received my financial aid letter and I'm getting zip. I visited the school last year and fell completely in love with it. Anyone else in this predicament?

Best of luck to those still waiting. I really hope no one is hanging by a thread come April 1st.

I'm in the same spot. I can't justify the debt for the TINY bump in job prospects over Suffolk/NESL (and I've gotten much larger amounts of $$$$).

They mailed mine out today, 3/11. I only applied and went complete on the 1st (both the same day), so I must be an "auto-admit." I'll wait and see what the scholarship offer is like.

Me too. Mine went complete on 11/12. Called them two days ago and they said they have to let everyone know by April 15th, which kinda sucks cause the deposit deadline for my other accepted schools is April 1st! Weren't able to tell me much else though.

So no one has received their "decision mailed 3/8" letter yet? Not even anyone in MASS?

It'll be the same as everyone else's: 25.5K over 3 years.

Same. Ultimately, I think I am going to accept the smaller scholarship from Northeastern. I cannot bring myself to go to a t4, so Suffolk, etc. are out. I will think about t3s that offered three times as much as Northeastern though.

Has anyone here tried to get Northeastern to improve their offer?

Suffolk is a T3 (last I checked).

I'm an NU Alum (UG), so if anyone has any questions about Northeastern in general or life at NU, I'll do my best to answer (PM?). I have a few friends who are/were NUSL grads/students.

If you haven't visited yet, the campus is gorgeous and Boston is fantastic in the summer (speaking as a transplant who's spend 7 or so years here). Also, I recommend living in Charlestown or Somerville to reduce the COL (Significantly!). The commute isn't bad and if you're a biker it's even easier.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
