From what I have seen in this thread, I think it normally goes that you get an email to call, you call and they say "Congrats", then your status checker changes from complete/pending review to Congrats.

I'm fairly certain everybody accepted has gotten phone calls and/or e-mails before their status checker changed. I'm not even checking my UVA one.

I think they are calling now instead of emailing for the most part. I want some people to hear today!! (including me

I was emailed today to call (and then accepted - I actually think I am the person referenced above from LSN). My email was from Jason Dugas and said something along the lines of "I'd like to talk to you about your application."
Nothing really happened on the status checker prior to this that I can tell. I've been Complete/Pending Review since Oct 28.

+1. Submitted 9/4, complete 9/7. I've got a borderline LSAT but a GPA I think they might've liked. Didn't write a Why UVA? though so we'll see.

I wrote a Why UVA and my numbers should be good. Unless I accidentally dropped an F-bomb or racial slur into my personal statement, I feel like I'm a pretty good applicant. I wish I didn't know that acceptances have been going out.

Is it standard to go complete the same day you submit at UVA? They seem efficient.

Yeah they get image reports (ie not paper) so it's quick with them. Same with Chicago.
