Thanks.
About 4 weeks for me. Under review 9/28. JR1 email 10/27.

Wait did Harvard outright say that they are letting people know within 2 months or is this just an assumption?
someone in this thread posted a blog response from HLS or a direct comment by JR or KB or HLS adcomms about how they were going to try to get responses out by 2 months after an applicant submits -- so its not an assumption lol.

Hey, at least this year we'll know before April if we're not going to HLS.

I submitted Oct. 14, went under review on the 20th, but didn't get an actual complete e-mail until yesterday (10/29). So if I had to guess, the complete email means that someone is ACTUALLY reading your file, especially if under review comes first.

just for the record, even though it might seem much longer, it's been less than two weeks since (as far as we know) the first emails went out. IMO give it another month or two before calling it time to start getting sad.

at least, that's what I'm telling myself

I love this board because it makes me completely neurotic and at the same time picks up my spirits :D

Thanks guys. Definitely way too early to be sad. I don't think there's much rhyme or reason to it.

I submitted 10/12, was under review on the status checker 10/16, got a complete email yesterday, and the JR1 today, for the record.

PM'd. A bit paranoid perhaps, but I don't mind sharing privately with anyone who asks.

Define "lately." I submitted 9/15 and got my JR1 on Tuesday.

Congrats to everyone on the interviews! I have a feeling that I won't get one for awhile, assuming I even do get one, due to my low GPA.

How long did it take you guys to go complete at Harvard? I submitted Monday night, and I've been "Application received" since Tuesday morning.

Hey Lysis, if you don't mind telling me when you had your report sent from LSAC? I send a secondary report fairly long after my first report, so I'm wondering if that's why I haven't received an email (not that I'm entitled to one).

My report was sent on 10/13.

I have no idea if updating would affect your place in line. My guess would be...it would? (<---Total speculation).
