I assumed that's what it meant. That's what mine has displayed for the last week or so.hopefulundergrad wrote:hopefulundergrad wrote:Does "file ready for review" mean complete?

Re: In at Duke!
I got the PT invite on August 31, the day before the application became available. A big batch of PT invites was sent out that day. I believe it was the first batch of the cycle. I took the June test.biv0ns wrote:About what time of year did you get the email? I'm not counting on it (high splitter) but just wondering

Re: In at Duke!
FWIW, I was basically told my ~3.5 GPA was just too low for a PT invite.biv0ns wrote:About what time of year did you get the email? I'm not counting on it (high splitter) but just wondering

Applied pt Friday. Status changed to "file ready for review" today! Hopefully they don't take the full 10 days.

I am still confused why I didn't get a PT invite. 174 and 3.95, and no invite. Unfortunately, I didn't find out I could request one till after I submitted my app.

How long has it been since submission? VoidSix requested after submitting and got it IIRC.TruckerD wrote:I am still confused why I didn't get a PT invite. 174 and 3.95, and no invite. Unfortunately, I didn't find out I could request one till after I submitted my app.

No I requested mine prior to submitting. I just mentioned it might be worth a shot seeing if they could redirect your app to PT.

Re: In at Duke!
It's already being reviewed. Been since 10/05, so I think emailing them now would just piss them off.

Goshdarnit. Duke is my first status checker and already I'm locked out of it. Somehow I got in fine the first time, but the second time I repeatedly entered the wrong password -- I'm not too good with letters and numbers combinations, apparently.
I will let this be a warning: don't check the status checker too much...

I have my password for the Duke status checker autosaved in my web browser. I've been obsessively checking it every 20 minutes. Haha, my file just changed to "under review". fingers crossed.

In today!
Its been more than 10 total days, but less than 10 business days since I went complete. It seems like maybe they meant 10 business days.

I've been under review (priority track) since the 20th, and today it updated to include today's date. In other words, it went from "Under review -- 10/20" to "Under review -- 10/27". Does this mean a decision is imminent? Or is it just random.
Ah, I need to stop checking the status checkers.

How big of a deal is this???
I was just looking at my submitted apps and I realized that for the PS I sent to Duke, the first 2pgs are 1.5 spaced and the last pg is double-spaced.
I spaced things different for each school depending on what they asked for with spacing and pg limits but this one slipped through the cracks.

When did you apply? Still waiting heresteakandeggs wrote:Received an acceptance from Duke (priority track)!!!!!!!!!! Super excited. I am from the north and last year and there were too many days less than 0 degrees with the windchill......spending 3 years in sunny North Carolina sounds perfect to me!!

I don't think that is a big deal. I accidentally put the wrong year for my graduation on my resume and still got an acceptance.
Have we figured out if PT is 10 business days or 10 regular days?

Well, tomorrow will mark ten days since I went under review, according to the status checker. I'll let you know tomorrow nightCoutureChiq wrote:steakandeggs wrote:hopefulundergrad wrote:How big of a deal is this???

I'm pretty sure we've determined it's 10 business days. Confidence level: 65 percent.CoutureChiq wrote:steakandeggs wrote:hopefulundergrad wrote:How big of a deal is this???
