Just curious if anyone who applied ED received any other decision besides a deferral...seems like the majority of us were moved to the RD pool...

I applied ED on September 16th and got my acceptance in the mail on Tuesday. GPA is roughly at median and LSAT at the 75th percentile. Letter was dated October 17th, but the wait was definitely worth it.

What kind of questions should we be prepared to answer at the group interview?

Accepted on Oct 24 via mail!

Has anyone received email correspondence yet? I've only gotten the print letter, and my online status checker still says "Complete." They also have an admitted students website, but it says it's currently down.

I was accepted a week and a half ago and I haven't gotten anything other than the initial letter.

"Once an application is complete, the file becomes eligible for review. Once the status check page indicates that an application is complete, it will not update again, even once a decision is made."

So stop worrying about the status checker once you've gone complete.
A fair thought, and I think a lot of us on TLS are overly neurotic. To be fair, though, based on last year's thread, things like a box popping up under requirements asking you to turn in your final transcript if you're a K-JD student were, in fact, indicators of an acceptance. The small details, like "complete" vs. "completed" are meaningless, though, like you said.
PDX is right. And to add another layer, those boxes popped up on my GULC Status Checker after I was accepted, even though I am not a K-JD. They have since disappeared. Could have been just a mistake, or could be that those show up (if just briefly) for everyone who is accepted. So definitely something to keep an eye out for.
One might argue that anxiety is exacerbated in groups and that interpreting the status checker only matters for one week of time (the time between learning early on the status checker and receiving one's mail) :).
Haha true. However, one could also argue that there is comfort in the thought that there is a meaningful pattern in the app process, much like the tendency of humans to see patterns throughout the world when there are none (e.g. celebrity deaths in 3s). Our brains are just trying to bring order to the chaos that is the admissions cycle

What do we know about admissions statistics for people invited to do a group interview?

I'm still waiting too. Turned in my app on Sep 15, went complete same time as you, had a group interview last week. Haven't checked the mail yet today though... (I'm on the East Coast)

Went well. It's super laid back, Dean Cornblatt is very friendly and engaging. I highly recommend doing it if you get the chance.

Haha, I had the interview already. It wasn't stressful or tense - none of those questions were even asked, to be honest.

Did ED people get deferred via email or mail? Seems like there has been a mix and I had previously thought mail was just for acceptances. Just wondering as I put my mailing address as my home address and want to give my parents a heads up!

Just got an alumni interview. Better than a WL or rejection!

Congrats Tort!
