I'm still having trouble getting an interview scheduled. It's been like a month since I've submitted + slightly longer since I requested an interview. I'm tempted to tell them to carry on without my interview because it's holding up my applicationm052310 wrote:Yep. Interviewed in mid September. Pretty much over it.

That's what I would do. I think it's usually done as a recruitment tool so I think you'll be fine as long as you show interest.brinicolec wrote:I'm still having trouble getting an interview scheduled. Re: Vanderbilt Law School c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
makes no difference. there is no country music vibe at the law school, it's kind of something that pops up if you go out to restaurants and bars. i go from home to school, starbucks, couple specific restaurants and bars so country music isn't a big part of the experience tbh. it's more likely to be the background music at some place of business than ordinary background music, put it that way.nerdylsat wrote:Does it make sense to go to Vandy if you dont like the country music kinda vibe? It's not my thing and I'm scared I would hate the city if I go there.
VLS student here so feel free to PM me, any of you who have specific Q's

Anyone know how long their break is? I guess Jan. 2nd is standard for admissions people to go back?

Does the status checker change after an interviewer submits their report? Mine has said complete before and after my interview.

I second the country music not mattering thing. I hated country music as a OL and never found Nashville annoying. Loved the place and would move back if given the chance.
Incidentally, I've ended up liking a limited amount of country music.

Part of me thinks perhaps they were holding off for the December LSAT score release (which was yesterday) I was interviewed and complete over 3 months ago and still nothing.EinassA wrote:Has Vanderbilt stopped accepting students or...?

I interviewed on 9/22 so I feel your pain. Atleast if they wait another week or so they'll receive my updated transcript from this past semester? So maybe that's a plus hahathistlybrick wrote:Part of me has been telling myself that, and the other part of me is DYING OMG!!! I'm in the same boat. Interviewed at the end of October and silence ever since. I did see that someone got accepted yesterday via LSN, but I assume more decisions will come out soon with the release of December results. Here's to continued hoping.jag13 wrote:I interviewed on 9/22 so I feel your pain. Atleast if they wait another week or so they'll receive my updated transcript from this past semester? Just got waitlisted, submitted and interviewed early November. Any tips on the LOCI?

Waitlisted...
This one hurt. I thought I crushed the interview and solid numbers as well.
This doesn't bode well for the T14

I'm not too bummed as Vanderbilt was a bit of a reach for me. Just glad it's not a rejection. Anyone know how people have gotten off in the past? Do they rank their list?

Did the status checker change before you received the email for the waitlist?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
