Can I ask you how you were granted a travel stipend? I was accepted a few day ago and I would love to go visit and I'd love to travel stipend to do that if possible!! Thanks in advance!sorence wrote:I've been working out a visit with WUSTL and they've granted me a travel stipend- yay! I'll be going late January. Anyone have any suggestions for my extremely short visit? It'll be my first time in the area.

Just ask if you'd qualify for a travel stipend. I hadn't even applied yet but they liked my numbers and so they offered me a travel stipend.montypython418 wrote:Can I ask you how you were granted a travel stipend? Pretty much this! The stipend was mentioned when I interviewed well over a month ago so I emailed the admissions office and was able to work it out! We're still working it out but they said it could cover airfare/accommodations/partials of both.

So the full ride scholarships- is that expressed as "no tuition payments period" or is it a dollar amount per year independent of actual tuition costs? I assume the stipends are static numbers across 3 years?

Scholarship offer came in today! Accepted 12/13, so this came in faster than I thought it would!

Same schedule as you, got in on the 13th and got the scholly offer today.sorence wrote:Scholarship offer came in today! Accepted 12/13, so this came in faster than I thought it would!
Even given their reputation, I was surprised by how much the offer included.

I'm not sure about all the scholarship offers. One offer says "full tuition for up to six semesters" that will "fully cover any increase in tuition".Sarastro wrote:So the full ride scholarships- is that expressed as "no tuition payments period" or is it a dollar amount per year independent of actual tuition costs? I'm right there with you! Didn't want to get my hopes up before it came in, but I'm so thankful for the offer they gave!Gitaroo_Dude wrote:Same schedule as you, got in on the 13th and got the scholly offer today.sorence wrote:Scholarship offer came in today! Had my interview an hour ago. Very friendly, and was more of a conversation than a grilling.

Interviewed on 11/29. Still no communication. 165 and 3.8. Should I be concerned about the long wait?

I interviewed 11/28, still no word. LSAT 164, GPA 3.94... I think the lower LSAT's will just push us to a later hearing period than the usual, but I wouldn't worryJs1482 wrote:Interviewed on 11/29. Still no communication. 165 and 3.8. Should I be concerned about the long wait?

My status checker says the status date is 12/23. Is that a mistake, or are they telling me when I will hear back?

On 12/7, day after my interview, my status date was set as 12/9. Didn't hear back until 12/13 (The 9th was a Friday, so that included a weekend), but I think its a good sign. FWIW I got in.jjcorvino wrote:My status checker says the status date is 12/23. Is that a mistake, or are they telling me when I will hear back?

Got accepted on 11/11 but haven't heard anything about scholarships yet. Seems like folks are hearing back quickly and I'm seeing $$$ on lsn. Anybody else end up waiting a while from acceptance to offer? Thanks.

Should I be concerned that I've been "Application Documents Received" since 10/18 [with literally radio silence]? I'm 25<LSAT<50 and 75th GPA so I don't really consider myself an auto reject? Do I call or email?

Late, but in on 12/15 via email, submitted 11/28 and interviewed on 12/5. 25 < GPA < 50 and LSAT at 75. Good luck to everyone!

IIRC, that's their status checker's way of saying you're complete and ready for review.lawlzschool wrote:Should I be concerned that I've been "Application Documents Received" since 10/18 [with literally radio silence]? I'd hold off on contacting the school at this point. It seems like they're working through applicant profiles who are at or over their LSAT median. They're probably holding off on reverse splitters until later in the cycle.
