Does anyone know if they ever gave decision email on day 11? Thx
Have you not heard yet either? I saw that you went "decision made" on the 21st, same deal for me and no email yet
I have not heard either. But at least now I know this is not my own idiosyncratic situation. Maybe we should call admissions tmr morning?
I'm personally going to wait out until after day 11 esp because other people in this thread claim to have heard on day 11, but I think its fair to call!
Did you also get two emails today about their weekly newsletter?

Accepted. I applied 9/1

Might be my top choice. FYI I was accepted 9/11 in the afternoon.
Thats amazing, congrats! I'm from the west coast and I don't know much about the area but Duke as a law school definitely intrigues me. Hopefully I hear good news soon.

Not to make any assumptions, but I think it's a good sign that you got the duke law weekly...I only got those once I was accepted. I doubt they would send those to applicants still waiting or about to be WL/denied

FWIW I was at both medians didn't write a why duke and got in through PT, I think they do look at other qualities that they want to promote at their school...who knows.
I got that entrepreneur pamphlet too don't think it's customized but it's a great strategy they're doing getting people interested
I guess I take back my Why X argument. I honestly felt that if you had a Why X essay done, you could just adjust it quickly but maybe not...?
Also don't think the pamphlet thing is working now that I know they sent it to everyone - I appreciate a personal touch, not mass spamming.
I was impressed by their clerkship numbers and learning about the venture start up clinic was cool. I guess I don't expect anything personal lol Their interchangeable one liner in the acceptance letter was good for me lol
Idk for me writing the why x essays were hard but I did it for my top three schools so I cared an awful lot, and Penns was pretty different than the other two. I'm about to write for two that I'm not as excited about which will probably be a lot shorter
There's a personalized part of the acceptance letter? I didn't really care but it looked like a straight form letter to me

Idk that there is one. Maybe if you already got the invite it will expire, but I got invited in like November two years ago and did it in January

Is it okay to submit a Why Duke essay even though I applied around 2 weeks ago?

On their website, if you enter the information and press the button what does that do? I'm scared that its going to lock me in for their Accelerated ED even tho Im still weighing it...

Sooo tempting to just apply rn via PT but still waiting on my 3rd (and likely best) LOR. Ugh. All I wanna do is hit that submit button

Hey, when you pressed the button on the website that let you apply PT, what happened? Like I am scared that if I don't want to apply PT after pressing the button that I'll be locked and wont be able to apply RD..

You put in your name, LSAC number and email and it registers you to apply PT.
Also, PT is still RD. It's not the same thing as ED. PT just means you'll get your decision within 10 days of your application going complete but it's non-binding.
