Re: Harvard Law School c/o 2019 Waitlist
I'm guessing that, if they're going to have another JS2 wave, a JS1 wave will precede it since there are still lots of people on the WL without a JS1 according to the poll. Otherwise wouldn't they have just cut those people last week when they did a round of dings?kr2 wrote:A giant JS2 wave today would really take the edge off of being back at work after a long weekend...

How many people, approximately, were cut in the previous ding wave?

67 people in poll. -6 admits = 61 left. 19 of those 61 cut from WL. So about a third of people here, it seemsscubasteve12 wrote:How many people, approximately, were cut in the previous ding wave?

That's weird, I thought someone had checked pre-WL JS1, rejected before? Did someone change their response or am I getting loopy?kr2 wrote:Keep in mind only 67 people responded to this poll, vs. 139 to the first one. For all we know, the other 72 people all got dinged and lost interest in responding to TLS polls. Currently, only 8 people say they are pre-WL JS1 (vs. 16 in the initial poll), but nobody responded "pre-WL JS1, rejected."theconsigliere wrote:67 people in poll. -6 admits = 61 left. 19 of those 61 cut from WL. Yeah, who knows at this point. I imagine that Yale and Stanford waitlist might open up some spots at Harvard too, as well as people deciding to defer. And the wait continues!

Yeah not very scientific on my part but I'm not sure of a better way to gauge it

Just stalked the yale and stanford waitlist pages and there's been no movement there so farkr2 wrote:Anybody have any random speculation to distract me from staring at my phone this afternoon?DanielE wrote:+2freakingoutlalala wrote:+1kr2 wrote:I have a good feeling about today...

edit: so that means they have to have movement soon then and therefore we will too?

Another day of hope turned into despair. Let's hope 6/2 is better.

Today? I'm so sorry! I thought this would be too late in the day for movement :/we'rebothmenofthelaw wrote:In the words of Ken "The Hawk" Harrelson, "This ballgame is ovah." Rejected no JS1.
