Re: University of Florida Levin College of Law c/o 2019
For those who negotiated larger scholarships, how long did that decision/process take? I emailed last week and received an email that someone would be in contact with me to discuss the process. It's been exactly a week and I still have not heard anything. Should I go ahead an email again to check in, or just wait for them to email me?

I would send a check in email to Connie in admissions. My process was pretty quick.zac95 wrote:For those who negotiated larger scholarships, how long did that decision/process take? I submitted an application yesterday, and took care of the application fee/residency form today. How long should it take for my status to change from "Application Relieved, Processing File" to "All Required Documents Received"?
Right now the status boxes next to "Academic Admissions Statement" and "Resume" are unchecked, even though they were part of my LSAC application, is this normal?
It might be too early to ask, but I know I'm applying late in the cycle, and I don't want to make a mistake with so little time to correct.

I'm under initial review right now. I've been in UIR since Feb 8th, but I sent my apps in the third week of January.FSUHopeful wrote:Still haven't heard anything.. 3.71 and 155 here. Applied first week of Jan.

Checking in! I applied on 2/17, but I took the February LSAT, so my application just went complete today. Hoping I don't have to wait too long as Tulane just accepted me haha.

My turnaround time was pretty quick. It took 1-2 days for me to go complete and another few days to go under review. The status boxes get checked when you go complete. Best of luck!GatorToLS wrote:I submitted an application yesterday, and took care of the application fee/residency form today. Checking in! Above 75th lsat, above 75th gpa++, %75 scholly. Anyone from the Gainesville area? Is it party central? Relatively safe? Has anyone checked out the graduate/family housing and is it half way decent? Any input appreciated! Oh and congratulations to all!

Correy Village looked more family than graduate housing to me when I drove by. It IS right across the street, but I read somewhere that the apartments do not have central a/c nor a dishwasher.Roosevelt wrote:Checking in! Above 75th lsat, above 75th gpa++, %75 scholly. Got it, thanks for the response! I'm still in processing. I'll think about getting in touch with them if it hasn't changed by the end of the week. Their site mentions that transcripts "may be required by both offices". Did you send your application materials in any other way than the LSAC form?My turnaround time was pretty quick. No problem! Transcripts are sent to the law school through LSAC. Once admitted, prior to enrolling, we need to send official copies to the graduate admissions office.GatorToLS wrote:Got it, thanks for the response! I'm still in processing. There are a few people, myself included, on the class of 2019 Facebook page that are showing interest in renting a house.Goatside47 wrote:Hey guys,
I know some housing stuff has been touched on earlier but I was wondering if anyone that plans on attending UF is considering living in a house at all. When I toured there were some places right across the street from the school that looked convenient. If anyone is interested and wants to talk more about it in person at the March 18 ASD let me know!

Has anyone had luck negotiating a second scholarship increase beyond an initial increase after a first request for more scholarship money?
